“My ambition is limited to the desire to capture something transient, and yet, this ambition is excessive.”
– Berthe Morisot
This item bears the name of Berthe Morisot (1841–1895), a pioneering French Impressionist who painted with both elegance and defiance. In a world dominated by male artists, Morisot carved her own path, capturing fleeting moments of domestic life, light, and femininity with a brush guided by instinct and intellect. Her work, often dismissed in her time, now stands as a testament to resilience and vision. Morisot’s legacy inspires us, reminding us that true artistry lies in the courage to see the world through one’s own lens and to express it authentically.

Passport & packaging
The three boxershorts come together in a reusable upcycled textile bag, which at the same time is its Hul le Kes passport. The packaging is extending our idea that clothing should be valued, cared for and kept, for now, for later, or for a next wearer.
