“I invent nothing, I rediscover.”
Auguste René Rodin

The shirt bears the name of Parisian sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840 – 1917). A traditionally schooled sculptor who approaches his work like a craftsman. One of his most famous works is Le Penseur (The Thinker). A bronze nude male figure sitting on a rock, his chin resting on his hand. Besides Rodin’s sculptures, his personal workwear is a great inspiration when designing Hul le Kes garments.

Quality

Crafted from 100% upcycled cotton shirts, each Rodin Patchwork Shirt is a one-off composition of past garments, reshaped into something new.

Carefully assembled at our Manufacturing Studio in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

Fit & sizing

The Rodin Patchwork Shirt is featured here on both Mai-Lin and Luke, highlighting its genderfluid and oversized silhouette. Luke, who usually wears a size 48 (EU) and is 186 cm tall (6’1″), is also wearing a size 2.
