Degas Long Sleeve Tunic – Surplus Cotton – Sand – Multiple Sizes

499

The Degas Long Sleeve Tunic is an oversized, flowing piece inspired by the utilitarian garments worn by Degas himself. Generously gathered for volume and comfort, it offers a sculptural silhouette that moves effortlessly with the wearer. Featuring a full front button closure, it can be worn as a standalone dress or layered boldly over trousers, an expressive, versatile item that blurs the line between art and attire.

This item is made from 60% surplus cotton and 40% polyester. The fabric is lightweight, slightly transparent, and comes in a sand color* with a sage stripe.

Available in the sizes 2/3 (the medium size) and 4/5 (the large size). Yet due to its oversized fit suitable for sizes from S to XL.

“Beauty is mysterious as well as terrible.”
Edgar Degas

This tunic is named after Edgar Degas (1834–1917). He was a French artist renowned for his depictions of dancers and scenes of modern Parisian life. Though often linked to the Impressionists, he saw himself as a realist, focusing on movement, perspective, and everyday moments. His attention to detail and craft strongly resonate with the values of Hul le Kes.

Fit & Sizing

The Degas Tunic is featured here on both Mai-Lin and Luke, showcasing its genderfluid and oversized silhouette.

Mai-Lin, who is 178 cm (5’10”) tall and typically wears a size 36 EU (US 6), is wearing a Hul le Kes size 2/3 for an intentionally oversized look.

Luke, who is 186 cm (6’1″) tall and usually wears a size 48 EU (US 38), is also wearing a Hul le Kes size 2/3.

More information about sizing can be found on the Hul le Kes Sizes page.

Passport & packaging

Each Degas Tunic will get its own unique code and a matching Clothing Passport. Make sure to use the passport to create your personal narrative.
