“Nature is not only all that is visible to the eye… it also includes the inner pictures of the soul”
–Edvard Munch
Recovery is not always something we can see. It can be found in small moments of confidence, connection and the rediscovery of personal abilities.
Through our Recovery Studio, Hul le Kes offers people facing psychological or social challenges an environment where they can participate in meaningful activities at their own pace. The Recovery Garden extends this philosophy into nature, creating opportunities to work with plants, explore natural colours and contribute to a landscape that grows through collective care.
By supporting Help us Recover, you help us create a place where people are valued for who they are, rather than what they produce. A garden where human recovery and the recovery of nature become part of the same story.
The project will take place next to Hoeve Klein Mariëndaal, at Landgoed Mariëndaal, in between Arnhem and Oosterbeek. Hul le Kes will start with the Recovery Garden at the beginning of 2027. Would you like to become a volunteer of the Hul le Kes garden? Or do you have any other questions? Send us an email.
*This is a sponsorship contribution to the Hul le Kes Recovery Garden, not the purchase of a physical product, land or plants, and supports the creation and care of the garden throughout its first two years.
