“Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you”
–Frank Lloyd Wright
A garden is never truly finished. It changes with the seasons, responds to its environment and requires continuous attention to develop into a healthy, biodiverse landscape.
The Recovery Garden is designed as a place where this ongoing care becomes part of a larger process of recovery. Throughout its first two years, we will nurture its plants, improve its soil and cultivate natural dye crops, while involving participants of our Recovery Studio in meaningful activities connected to nature.
The project will take place next to Hoeve Klein Mariëndaal, at Landgoed Mariëndaal, in between Arnhem and Oosterbeek. Hul le Kes will start with the Recovery Garden at the beginning of 2027. Would you like to become a volunteer of the Hul le Kes garden? Or do you have any other questions? Send us an email.
*This is a sponsorship contribution to the Hul le Kes Recovery Garden, not the purchase of a physical product, land or plants, and supports the creation and care of the garden throughout its first two years.
