“Great art picks up where nature ends”
–Marc Chagall
The Recovery Garden is more than a garden. It is a living landscape in which ecological restoration, artistic exploration and human recovery come together. Developed as a two-year project, it will provide space for native plants, natural dye crops and biodiversity, while creating opportunities for participants of our Recovery Studio to reconnect with nature through meaningful activities.
By supporting the creation of this landscape, you help us lay the foundations for a place where nature and human creativity can strengthen one another. A garden that will continue to grow, change and inspire long after its first seeds have been planted.
The project will take place next to Hoeve Klein Mariëndaal, at Landgoed Mariëndaal, in between Arnhem and Oosterbeek. Hul le Kes will start with the Recovery Garden at the beginning of 2027. Would you like to become a volunteer of the Hul le Kes garden? Or do you have any other questions? Send us an email.
*This is a sponsorship contribution to the Hul le Kes Recovery Garden, not the purchase of a physical product, land or plants, and supports the creation and care of the garden throughout its first two years.
