Featuring a rounded collar and bindings made from soft deadstock rib fabric, it blends structure with ease. Generous pockets, extra-long sleeves, and a snap button closure complete this refined, painterly piece. Made in our Arnhem studio.

The Hul le Kes Cremer Jacket is named after Dutch painter and author Jan Cremer (1940). The sight of Cremer’s atelier being notoriously messy puts a smile on Sjaak’s face. Being a bit of a braggy controversial character in Dutch culture, Cremer’s paintings nonetheless fill us with inspiration.
Crafted from vintage wool blankets, each Cremer Jacket is a one-of-a-kind piece. Finished with deadstock ribbed bindings, every detail is chosen to complement the character of the original fabric.
Small repairs by our Recovery Studio honour the life of the material while ensuring lasting comfort.

Luke, who usually wears a size 48 (EU) and is 186 cm tall (6’1″), is wearing a size 2. Tess, who typically wears a size 36 (EU) and is 178 cm tall (5’10”), is also wearing a size 2.
