Hul le Kes x Allude

December 8, 2021

We like to collaborate with other fashion labels to create more sustainable awareness. After a successful collaboration with ReShare Store by the Dutch Salvation Army, Hul le Kes ReShared, and our collaboration with the childrens brand Gray Label RNTD we now announce an international collaboration.

At Hul le Kes we launch a limited series of garments together with the established German cashmere label Allude. A collaboration about the balance between the use of high quality materials and a new fashion system.

Reuse

We felt a strong connection with Allude in their motivation to stimulate the reuse of materials and clothing. In the city center of Munich, Allude’s hometown, you will find their ‘Cashmere Clinic’. From all over Europe many cashmere sweaters, from any kind of brand, are sent to this studio to be repaired by applying invisible mending techniques. We recently started our Hul le Kes Recovery Studio in Arnhem where we repair clothing and textiles with visible mending techniques.

Both of us are convinced that a good garment is worth it to be repaired and reused, over and over again. It is also the reason why we wanted this collection to be made out of overproduced and rejected yarns from the industry. The quality of these yarns are still very high and therewith it is a shame they would not be used anymore.

With this collection Allude and Hul le Kes want to bring to you alternatives to the current fashion system. Alternatives like natural dyeing, working with deadstock and the mending of clothes. The collection, consisting of five styles, is available as per December 9th via both our webshops. The first 50 clients ordering a garment at our website will receive a tote bag. A tote made specially for this collaboration, made out of rejected painters canvas at our own studio in Arnhem.

About Allude

Allude was established in 1993 by Andrea Krag, the owner and creative director of the brand, in Munich, Germany. A label born out of the personal passion of Andrea for the beauty of this material. Allude is sold online via their own website and Net-A-Porter. In London at Selfridges, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, in Seoul at Boon the Shop, in New York at Fivestory and in Moscow at TsUM. In the city center of Munich the Cashmere Clinic by Allude can be found. At the Cashmere Clinic they invisibly mend cashmere products from all over Europe for individuals. Every year a small 4.000 cashmere products are repaired by the Cashmere Clinic and delivered back to their owners.
