Every year, on the third Tuesday of September, the Dutch national Budget Day (better known in the Netherlands by Prinsjesdag) is taking place. Last year the Dutch politician Kiki Hagen (D66) wore a Hul le Kes outfit which she borrowed from Dutch actress Jennifer Hoffman. This year Kiki Hagen selected her own outfit at Hul le Kes.
The top of this outfit is our Pollock Short Sleeve Shirt and is fully made out of old bedding cotton. It has been having a natural dye of chestnuts, rust and campeche wood. This fully upcycled top was combined with our Monet Skirt (new in our collection soon!). This was made from a GOTS certificated coton at our Manufacturing Studio.
Kiki Hagen is an advocate of sustainable and circular fashion within Dutch politics. As a spokesman of the circular economy we are delighted to see her wearing a sustainable outfit by Hul le Kes.
