Actress Jennifer Hoffman came to us to design her outfit for the movie’s premier which took place last Friday. We made her an outfit consisting of a skirt and a top. The skirt was made from the silk of an old wedding dress, which we dyed with the natural dyes as one knows from Hul le Kes. The top has been made out of an overstock linen fabric. A true sustainability statement which not many people dare to make, but actress and tv-host Jennifer Hoffman did make this statement with her custom made Hul le Kes outfit.
We are honored Jennifer came to us and trusted us enough to design an outfit for this special moment. Jennifer is a front runner on sustainable living in the Netherlands. A couple of years ago she was the tv-host of the Dutch TV program ‘ Genaaid’; a tv program about the fast fashion industry. The same tv program for which Sjaak was the designers’ coach.
