Our Rodin Shirt is a generous-fit classic shirt for all genders, made entirely from upcycled bed linens. Each of these shirts is uniquely dyed by hand with natural stain techniques and crafted with care in our Arnhem studio. A timeless essential with character.
Crafted from 100% upcycled cotton bedsheets, naturally dyed in our Dried Aubergine hue*. Every shirt carries its own subtle variation, embracing imperfection as part of its charm. No two Rodins are ever the same.

The shirt bears the name of Parisian sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840 – 1917). A traditionally schooled sculptor who approaches his work like a craftsman. One of his most famous works is Le Penseur (The Thinker). A bronze nude male figure sitting on a rock, his chin resting on his hand. Besides Rodin’s sculptures, his personal workwear is a great inspiration when designing Hul le Kes garments.
The Rodin Shirt is worn in the photos by Valerie and Etienne.
Valerie is 183 cm / 6’0” tall and wears EU size 34 / US size 2. In the photos, she is wearing a size 2, but could easily have worn a size 0|1. Etienne is 190 cm / 6’3” tall and wears EU size 48 / US size 38. In the photos, he is wearing a size 2.
Each garment will get its own unique code and a matching Clothing Passport*. Make sure to use the passport to create your personal narrative.
Are you done with the garment? We are always happy to receive old items back, especially if they are provided with their original passport. Or give the garment, including its passport, to your beloved friend or family member. But never forget: do not throw away your Hul le Kes garment.
