The Kahlo Dress is a flowing, genderless piece with a generous fit that suits a wide range of bodies and proportions. Its short, wide sleeves and gathered neckline offer ease and comfort, while a front slit adds subtle movement. Finished with a small button closure at the front, this design brings together structure and softness in equal measure.
This item is made from upcycled post-consumer cotton bedding sourced from 2Switch and the ReShare Store. Naturally dyed using rust*, which no longer transfers color.

This tunic is named after Frida Kahlo (1907–1954), the Mexican artist known for her powerful self-portraits and her fearless exploration of identity, pain, and tradition. Her use of clothing as both personal expression and political statement continues to inspire Hul le Kes, where garments carry stories, emotions, and the beauty of imperfection.
