June will be the fashion month in our hometown Arnhem. Many designers will exhibit their work, designer shops are popping up in the city and other events will be organized. Also Hul le Kes is participating in the June Fashion Month Arnhem. In this news post you will read all about it.
Most of the events in June will be held at our store in Arnhem. As per June 2nd the doors of our store will permanently open. From that moment on you will be able to see and buy unique pieces and special items at the Hul le Kes Store. The shop is open every Wednesday until Saturday as per June 2nd at Wezenstraat 5, first floor, Arnhem, The Netherlands.
On Saturday June 3rd Sjaak Hullekes will host another Dyeing Event in our store. Get your ticket for this event now. During this event Sjaak will explain about the Hul le Kes way of natural dyeing. About why we work with natural dyes and about the Hul le Kes brand. Would you like to join? It is possible to get a regular ticket (10 euros), a student ticket (7,5 euro) or to get a special ticket including a Dyeing Service for 30 euros (meaning you get your entrance to the event for free). We hope to see you there!
At our store you will find an exhibition about our collaborations with other parties. Changing the fashion system and people’s mindset is not something we can do all by ourselves. That is why Hul le Kes likes to collaborate with others. At our store you can find an overview of four collaborations: Hul le Kes x Gray Label, Hul le Kes x Yumeko, Hul le Kes x Limo Hair and the Herb-to-color project (a collaboration between Fibershed Nederland, Hul le Kes, Wilder Land and Roua Atelier). Entrance to this exhibition is of course free of charge.
On June 30 we will open the doors of our Manufacturing Studio and Recovery Studio again. It is the only event in June that is not taking place at our store, but at the Van Oldenbarneveldstraat 79a in Arnhem. Would you like to have a look at our studio’s? Then register yourself for this Open Studio. Entrance is free, but it would be great if you could register yourself up front.
On July 6th we will host a round table talk at the Hul le Kes Store about the Herb-to-color project. Together with Wilder Land, Fibershed Nederland, Roua Atelier and others we will talk about the project and on how fashion can help to create a better biodiversity within the Netherlands. Would you like to join this conversation? Get your ticket via this link.
