Gray Label’s circular RNTD concept, that rents out items of their Miniature collection, ensures a garment’s life doesn’t end after one owner. Once one child has outgrown an item, it is sent to the next one.
This optimal use of children’s clothing greatly lessens the environmental impact.
Of course, sometimes little stains or wear make these items unusable.
It would be a waste to consider those items waste.
It’s here that our collaboration begins.
We at Hul le Kes use those garments to create one-of-a-kind designs.
Gray Label x Hul le Kes shapes new stories out of old clothing.
Another step in the direction of a changing attitude towards fashion
The leftovers of Gray Label’s RNTD collection are mended by hand, piece by piece. It follows that the Gray Label x Hul le Kes capsule collection is limited and unique in design. No two items are the same and each one will have a tag showing which of our characteristic natural dyes was used. Madder, onion peels, annatto seeds avocados and so on, and so on.
With our eye for design and craftsmanship we have turned Gray Label’s RNTD items into fashionable collector’s items that aren’t just comfortable to wear, but that make a sustainable and socially involved statement.
From Thursday the 29th of April onwards, this collection will be made available on our website as well as Gray Label’s.
