Hul le Kes has been invited by Lovely Lane to organize a Monet & Cremer Jacket fitting event inAmsterdam on Sunday November 27th. The event will be at their showroom on a Boutique Boat in the canals of Amsterdam. Address: Plantage Muidergracht 202, Amsterdam.
The event will take place from 12.00 – 17.00. No appointment required, just bring your friends and family!
The Hul le Kes Monet Jackets, Monet Bodywarmers and Cremer Jackets are made from vintage woolen blankets donated through recycling companies like 2Switch or Sympany and individuals. To prevent overproduction, every jacket is made to order. Next Sunday we will bring a lovely collection of vintage blankets from which you can choose your favorite blanket. It is also possible to bring your own blanket. During the fitting event you are able to select your desired size. It is even possible to have a matching Monet Kids with your coat. We will start making your jacket in our studio in Arnhem. After 4 weeks you can expect your order being shipped and you’ll receive your personal, upcycled, jacket.
Lovely Lane’s clothes are designed by Marije Braber and are made by hand in Amsterdam. The women’s clothing is reminiscent of Brigitte Bardot, Jane Birkin and Janis Joplin and all icons of that time. It’s Lovely Lane’s mission to pay their tailors a living income and give you that satisfying feeling that you’ve paid for a fair cost price without paying too much for nonsensical costs on their side. They work on the basis of a made to order principle. No waste.
