Charley Toorop was a Dutch painter known for her sharp realism and independent vision. Growing up in avant-garde circles, she exhibited alongside artists like Braque and Picasso. Her bold, timeless approach resonates with Hul le Kes’ philosophy of merging individuality with craftsmanship.
