On May 18th Duncan Laurence will represent the Netherlands at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel. Duncan will come on stage in a sustainable outfit by Hul le Kes, clothing with the same life cycle all Hul le Kes items are known for.
Specially for Duncan Laurence Sjaak Hullekes created an outfit matching his song and performance with a jacket from antique French linen. The trousers and shirt are made from ‘left-over’ fabric to remain the sustainable character of the Hul le Kes collections.
As the jacket is made from several antique linens the jacket shows a difference in color throughout the jacket. All items have been hand dyed for Duncan to match his performance. Hul le Kes’ starting point: it’s not the perfection but the imperfection which makes clothes interesting and characterful.
On Tuesday May 7th Duncan Laurence will perform his song ‘Arcade’ and wear his outfit for the first time at the Eurovision-stage in Tel Aviv.
