This garment is named after the Dutch artist and writer Jan Cremer (1940). ‘Ik Jan Cremer’ (I Jan Cremer) is his best known book and a book that Sjaak has been reading many times. His book, full of sex, was even a topic of debate in Dutch politics by then. The rebellion of Cremer and his edgy way of writing are an inspiration to Sjaak in his life.
