Her literary experiments continue to perplex critics, her influence on American literature is unquestionable. Many recognize her as an important innovator who challenged narrative conventions. Sjaak is moved by her collectioneur, her lesbisch and feminist point of views and Zeitgeist. She held court in a vibrant Parisian salon frequented by artistic luminaries amongst who as Picasso, Matisse, Fitzgerald.
