This bag is named after the Japanese floral artist Azuma Makoto. In 2005 Azuma adopted a new form of flower arranging which he called botanical sculpture. He became world-famous with his idiosyncratic floral works, such as the frozen ice sculpture bouquets that he made for Dries van Noten among others. At Hul le Kes we love flowers and floral artists such as Azuma Makoto. All our garments are named after an artist we love, admire or want to remember in any way.
