“Colour is a means of liberation.”
– Corneille
This item is a homage to Corneille, co-founder of the CoBrA movement and a key figure in postwar European art. Born in 1922 in Liège, Corneille was a Dutch painter known for his vibrant, imaginative works filled with birds, women, and dreamlike landscapes. His expressive style and playful use of color reflect the spontaneous spirit Hul le Kes embraces today. He passed away in 2010.
