Helmut Newton

This item is named after the German / Australian, Jewish, photographer Helmut Newton (1920 -2004). At the age of 18, Newton left Germany after being briefly interned in a concentration camp on Kristallnacht. He arrived in Singapore where he started his photography career at the local English newspaper. In 1940 he moved to Australia. He became a provocative fashion photographer widely known for his erotically black-and-white photos. He is an inspiration for us as being an icon in fashion.

At Hul le Kes we do not want to focus on a particular gender. Therefore, we work with our own size chart. Our sizes range from 0 to 5. When a garment is a one size fits all, it’s sized as A. 

For our Newton top you can choose from sizes 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
