Hul le Kes
The Hul le Kes Brancusi is a tapered pair of linen trousers. Dyed naturally with madder and campeche wood.
Because we dye ourselves, by hand, no two dyes turn out the same. In turn no two garments are the same.
Not only our dyeing process, but our whole production happens in-house, by hand.
Made to order helps us create only the items we need. It’s a benefit for you, us and the environment.
This item is dyed naturally. To its unique dyes, you will need to hand-wash using luke warm water. We’re against the industry’s use of heavy chemical dyes, which damage the planet and people that come in contact with them. Dyeing naturally means that eventually colours will fade. As a solution we started the Hul le Kes dyeing service, which re-dyes items.
"What is real is not the external form, but the essence of things "
Constantin Brâncuși (1876 – 1957) was a Romanian sculptor. He moved to Paris in 1904, where in 1907 he was invited to work with Auguste Rodin in his studio. He soon parted ways with Rodin though, wishing to pursue his own approach to sculpture. Noticeable of his work is the accurate application of craftsmanship. Brancusi believed craftsmanship to be an important factor in achieving true sculpture.
At Hul le Kes we do not focus on a particular gender. Therefore we work with our own size chart. Our sizes range from 1 to 4. When a garment is a one size fits all, it’s sized as A.
These trousers come in size 1, 2 or 3.
